We provide comprehensive, personalised group and one to one instruction!
Hello and welcome to Andy’s Positive Programmes (APP).
My name is Andy Robinson and I am the founder of APP. I was born and raised in Knowsley, growing up in Kirkby and later in Huyton, where I continue to work within the local community.
For over 25 years I have worked with children and young people in schools, youth settings and community projects, helping them develop confidence, resilience, positive relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Alongside this, I have volunteered at Huyton Amateur Boxing Club for almost 30 years, supporting generations of young people both inside and outside of the gym.
Throughout my career I have seen first-hand the challenges facing children and young people today. From bullying and low self-esteem to anxiety, antisocial behaviour and a lack of opportunities to have their voices heard, many young people need positive role models and safe spaces where they can grow, learn and thrive.
This is why I created Andy’s Positive Programmes.
APP delivers engaging, practical and interactive programmes that help children build confidence, resilience and life skills while encouraging them to become positive citizens within their schools and communities.
Our programmes currently include:
• Anti-Bullying and Kindness Programmes
• Mental Resilience and Emotional Wellbeing
• Positive Mindset Workshops
• Campcraft and Outdoor Learning
• Team Building and Leadership Development
• School Pupil Committees and Youth Voice Projects
• Community Engagement Initiatives
• Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Education
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that young people should have a voice. We encourage children to talk about the issues that matter most to them, helping them develop confidence to contribute positively to their schools, communities and future society.
More recently, I became an author and wrote Teddy and Crocksy, a children’s book inspired by my son Teddy. The story promotes inclusion, acceptance and understanding, encouraging children to celebrate differences and recognise the value that everyone brings. The book is now being used as an additional educational resource within our programmes to support discussions around diversity, friendship and belonging.
As both a youth worker and a dad, I am passionate about helping create safer, stronger and more inclusive communities for future generations. Everything we do at APP is designed to give young people the confidence, skills and opportunities they need to achieve their potential and make a positive difference in the world around them.
Thank you for visiting our website and supporting our journey.

Andy’s Positive Programmes
We have currently worked with over 500 young people in the last 3.5 years. Setting up committees in schools, which give pupils the platform to voice their concerns and deal with matters in school and the wider community. We have created positive links to local councils, police, fire services, bbc Merseyside, national lottery and all the communities groups we work in. We catch all the work on film, so it can be used as a positive tool and also showcase the work the pupils/ Staff do and how they’re making a massive difference for now and the future.
we’re working in Liverpool, Knowsley, west Lancashire and Halton
